Međunarodni žiri sastavljen od 68 automobilističkih novinara iz približno toliko zemalja u Stuttgartu je dvadeseti put dodelio prestižna priznanja u izboru za svetski motor godine – International Engine of the Year Awards.
Apsolutni pobednik je pogonski agregat F154CB, jer je bio šampion i za 2016. i za prošlu godinu, a u 2018. je prvi u tri kategorije.
To je 3,9-litarski tvin-turbo V8 motor, koji može da se nađe u modelima Ferrari 488 GTB, 488 Spider i 488 Pista. F154CB je pobednik i u kategoriji performans motora, kao i kategoriji motora radne zapremine 3.0-4.0 litara.

Kao i prethodnih godina, nagrade su dodeljene u 13 kategorija, pored motora Ferrari preostalih devet dobitnika dolaze od različitih proizvođača.
